Board Chairperson

Aida is a seasoned credit risk and corporate finance professional with an extensive career spanning international and regional banking institutions. She has held senior roles including Manager, Credit Risk at Trade and Development Bank; Director, Corporate Credit at Barclays Bank Uganda, where she led the Corporate Credit Team and safeguarded the quality of the commercial loan portfolio; Manager, Credit Risk (SME Banking) at Standard Chartered; and Manager, Credit Origination within Corporate & Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank Uganda. Earlier in her career she rose through the ranks at dfcu Bank, from Banking Officer to Loan Officer to Credit Manager, and also served as Senior Portfolio Investment Officer at the East African Development Bank and Senior Credit Risk Analyst at PTA Bank. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration, both from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University, and is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) of the ACCA, London. Her depth of experience in credit risk management, portfolio governance, and corporate finance brings valuable institutional discipline to CredMan Capital’s Board.
